Currently, with 8 locations around the Kansas City metro area and Lawrence. Our professional certified team members are trained to provide solutions for all electronic repair needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Do you have an eye for detail and a sixth sense for market success? Phone Medic’s savvy District Managers translate the plan into action when it comes to exceptional sales and service. Whether it’s motivating people on the frontlines, streamlining store operations, or showcasing your knack for effective merchandising you’ll forge our business strategy into the best customer experience across several Phone Medic locations in your territory.  As a District Manager you’ll own the sales and operations of twelve or thirteen Phone Medic locations, keeping close tabs on each one’s ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll build and coach a stellar team of Store Managers who’ll manage the day-to-day details with your support. From backend operations to electronic repairs, you’ll assess each location’s overall performance to identify areas of improvement and respond quickly. And, with the same razor-sharp focus, you’ll celebrate successes to reinforce your team’s talent and training. People who excel as District Managers have a natural ability to lead leaders and instill confidence in people around them. In this role, you’ll act as an enthusiastic coach to motivate your team to learn, strive for improvement, and feel a real sense of pride in pleasing customers. You’ll maintain grace under pressure, with an honest attitude and an informal style that sets the stage to “get the job done.” This position also demands that you be diligent about tracking numbers-making clear sense of the financial data and making your next action plan. With an eye on the big picture, and a constant tally on the specifics, you’ll steer the way to success.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achievement of department targets, profit performance, site operations, while ensuring top-notch customer service.
  • Resolves customer escalations.
  • Accountable for operational compliance of their entire district.
  • Develop higher skills from within the existing workforce
  • Conduct operations training with store teams.
  • Provides leadership for each manager in the district to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and coach managers to meet sales targets and other quotas.
  • Identifies sales opportunities, sets achievable goals, and guides Sales Representatives in formulating territory plans and specific performance objectives
  • Utilizes available reports to identify opportunities; encourages a top-line orientation through operational focus; ensures that correct operational procedures are followed at all times.
  • Accountable for coaching and training store staff for operational excellence, supports training initiatives, involved in process for new employee orientation, monitors training processes to ensure quality training of team members and managers.
  • Ensures that the MEDICS process is trained and utilized on every customer interaction.
  • Aggressively develops and maintains staffing levels; drives to full management staffing for each location in market; commits to selection process; monitors staffing levels.
  • Champions recognition and motivation efforts throughout the market.
  • Invests resources to ensure the highest return on investment in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Does not compromise in creating and maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Ensures that written performance evaluations of supervised employees are completed as required, provides continuous feedback on personnel performance issues, and takes immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems.
  • Possess solid knowledge and understanding of all assigned products, treatment regimes, competitor products,  market and industry trends
  • Adaptable to change in priorities and direction; acts with a sense of urgency to mobilize and lead the team during change
  • Plan and facilitate district meetings and participates in training, and national meetings as required
  • Meets expectations and deadlines for all projects and administrative tasks
  • Represents Phone Medic in a personable, ethical, professional, knowledgeable and credible manner
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or a combination of education & work experience with a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of retail management, district management experience preferred.
  • Skills and experience to motivate and inspire a team to exceptional results.
  • Proven track record of surpassing monthly quotas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines, to multi-task and consistently prioritize work-flow.
  • Must have strong computer skills, specifically Google Apps and MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to be creative in solving problems.
  • Ability to work independently as a project leader and as a team member.Must be analytical, detail oriented and accurate.
  • Must have organizational skills, and an aptitude for analyzing data.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to interact effectively with different levels or responsibility.
  • Must be able to make good decisions and have good time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
  • Ability to manage from a central location.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, required, some travel required.
  • Experience working in a field-based, multi-state environment a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally required to sit for extended lengths of time in a workspace communicating by phone and using hands to access data on the computer.  The employee will occasionally be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.  This employee may also be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
