Nearly 264 million Americans use their phone 12 billion times per day, according to Deloitte. Also, two-thirds of consumers replace their phones every two years. The average phone is re-used 3 to 5 times before being placed in end of life. Cell phone re-use continues to grow in popularity as cell phone prices increase. Also, a key driver in re-use is that cell phone repairs and iPhone repairs are becoming a more common practice amongst consumers.
